About Us

Who We Are

The Northwoods Shelby Club is a top of the line enthusiast group that was established in September 1976 as a non-profit organization. The club was formed to provide motorsport enthusiasts with opportunities to drive their cars on road racing circuits.

The club hosts open track events at various road racing circuits located in the Midwest. These circuits include Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI, Blackhawk Farms in South Beloit, IL, and Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL.

Membership is open to everyone regardless of their car’s make and model, as there are no ownership requirements. The club currently has more than 1,000 members scattered throughout the US.
